Emergency E-mail Notification System (EENS)

I don't "get" EENS - please explain it better.

It is comprised of two fairly simple steps:
First make yourself a list of contacts - these are people you wish to have automatically notified of your activities in the event of an emergency and they do NOT have to be EvacuationHelp members.
Second - when you do an activity related to a disaster - use the "Evacuation Plans" / "Evacuate Now" to notify everybody what you have done and enter in your own message to include in the email. The system will then send to everybody on your EENS list an e-mail saying with which EvacUser you are driving or who you are picking up and your final destination.
We are aware that in a disaster you may be in a rush, or not have a computer available... so when you do reach your destination borrow your host's computer for a few minutes or go to the library, or see if the hotel you are at has free computers to use and enter into the system that you are safe afterwards.
